Graphic Design, Strategic Communications & Marketing

I studied Design & Photography at Smith College & School of Visual Arts. Then began working in journalism & digital media for VOGUE & Wired at Condé Nast, mediabistro.com, Publishers Weekly & Hachette Filipacchi Media.

This led to Promotions, Press Relations & Publicity for art projects, events and nonprofits such as the Edible Schoolyard, Flux Factory and for clients in the toy and film industries.

I became the voice and documentary eye of Airlift’s social media, expanding from 3,000 to over 50,000 followers with a marketing strategy including designing and launching a new Music Box Village website, coverage on key cultural and travel industry websites, national press features and engaging original content known for its visual appeal. To win the attention of donors, ticket buyers and art enthusiasts, I commissioned traditional poster and handbill design from local New Orleans artists, to seed word-of-mouth buzz.

Since then, my design and digital media clients include the legendary NYC underground club Rubulad, the HONK NYC music festival, the Shadow Parks Department and the SF Institute of Possibility.
